Garbiñe Muguruza, 2-time Huge homerun champion, gets engaged with to fan who requested selfie in New York City
Double cross Huge homerun champion Garbiñe Muguruza is wedding a man who made a move quite a while back.
The 2016 French Open and 2017 Wimbledon champion reported her commitment to Arthur Borges over the course of the end of the week through Instagram, complete with “Jerry Maguire” quote subtitle.
The history here is something you don’t frequently find in proficient competitors’ very own lives.
As Muguruza told HOLA! Spain last week, she initially met Borges when he asked her for a selfie as a fan in the city in New York City during the 2021 US Open:
“My lodging was near Focal Park and I was exhausted, so I figured I ought to take a walk,” she said in Spanish, thinking back about whenever they first met. “I go out and I run into him in the city. Out of nowhere, he turns and says ‘Best of luck at the US Open.’ I was left reasoning, ‘Amazing, he’s so attractive.'”
The pair evidently kept on gathering each other from that point and began hanging out, frequently with strolls around Focal Park.
Muguruza told HOLA! that piece of her appreciation for Borges comes from the way that he isn’t associated with tennis by any stretch of the imagination. All things being equal, the Spain local works in design. He allegedly asked about getting married in Marbella:
