Iam Tongi was delegated the victor of American Symbol Season 21 with Megan Danielle coming in just short of the leader and Colin Stough taking third.
Following Tongi’s success, there has been banter among certain fans that the show was “manipulated” for him to win. Presently Danielle is focusing on the contention and pushing back on the unwarranted cases.
“I would agree that that it isn’t on the grounds that, you know, I feel like God got all of this going for an explanation,” the American Symbol next in line told the New York Post in a meeting. “Regardless of whether I was first, second, last, whatever … I feel like any of us truly merited it.”
Danielle proceeded, “I feel like Iam was meriting and he’s so modest thus skilled. Also, this was his time and I’m simply really glad for him.”
Crowds associated with Tongi after he uncovered that he lost his dad a couple of months before the tryout because of kidney sickness. It was his dad that got him into music and his excursion on Icon was to pay tribute to his memory.
Tongi, the principal victor from Hawaii in the singing contest likewise discussed how winning affected him and his way of life.
“I’ve forever been tied in with doing right by my kin, my family glad, my father pleased. My way of life. It’s so cool I become a motivation to different Polynesians and others like me. I’m a Polynesian kid, yet I love everybody,” he told television Insider following his success.
On what his dad would agree that realizing he was the victor of American Symbol, Tongi said, “I realize he would have been cheerful. I simply love him and miss him and realize he would be pleased.”
