Barbara Corcoran has a more busier schedule than most because she is a serial entrepreneur and investor on ABC’s “Shark Tank.” However, she will always find time for her morning ritual.
“On a significant day, my routine is the same than irrelevant days,” Corcoran tells CNBC Make It.
A tried-and-true method to boost energy, enhance productivity, and raise your chances of success is to establish a morning routine. Corcoran also thinks that being ready the night before is helpful.
Every night, she says, “I do something to prepare for the day that will come.” “I’d never go to sleep without making a to-do list for the next day.”
Barbara Corcoran’s morning routine is as follows:
- She puts exercise first.
She exercises with her trainer before leaving for work three days a week. That’s what keeps me alive. More so than for my physical health, it’s for my emotional health, adds Corcoran.
Science supports Corcoran’s opinions. According to study, even just 10 minutes of exercise a week may greatly increase your happiness.
According to a research published in Nature Communications in November 2022, exercising can also help you be more attentive the next day.

- She arrives to work on time and is well-prepared.
After her morning workouts, Corcoran, a self-described “early riser,” enters the workplace: “I get in my office early because I do my best work before noon.”
She tries to dress nicely to add some flair to her days, which may be beneficial for self-esteem.
According to psychologist Tess Brigham, dressing in ways that make you feel strong is a terrific approach to feel and appear confident.

- She puts together her errands by significance
For a smooth day, she bunches her undertakings in classes of significance:
"A" undertakings are "never the things you need to do" yet they're fundamental and should be finished: These are "the things that push your business ahead, the things you would rather not defy [and] the things you need to truly share with someone, in any event, terminating individuals," she says.
"B" and "C" things are all the other things, however are less significant than the "A" errands.
“I go into the following morning [and] move my A’s,” Corcoran says. “Since I realize I can linger the entire day away not doing the A’s. However, assuming that I linger on the B’s and C’s, it doesn’t seem OK.”
Corcoran believes that keeping a to-do list and prioritising her duties keeps her on track and makes her more accountable.
“It helps me remain active on important tasks. And I combined the personal and professional items on that list, she adds. “This is how life is. Now that everything has merged.
